In accordance with Section 54 of the Property Practitioners Act (the Act), administered by the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA), all tenant rental deposits must be held in a designated, compliant trust account managed by a registered property practitioner. If you are a tenant, you are required to submit the necessary FICA documentation to meet the bank’s Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) obligations. This can be conveniently completed through our Property Practitioners Act Compliance Platform.
