Business Partners Limited, a specialist risk finance company for small and medium owner-managed businesses (SMEs), has chosen to honour the true spirit of the festive season by giving eight of its SME clients a prize of R40 000 each. The giveaway coincides with the company’s 40th anniversary as one of the country’s leading SME financiers.
Winners, who were randomly selected from the Business Partners Ltd client pool, were given an equal share of R320 000 in cash. Their prizes were personally handed over by members of the investment team who travelled the length and breadth of the country to award their deserving clients, for their resilience and determination amidst trying times.
“For our team at Business Partners Ltd awarding eight of our loyal clients with their prizes has been the highlight of our year. For us, there was no better way to close out our 40th anniversary year than to give back to those who have travelled this journey alongside us. And the festive period was the perfect time to do it. The deserving winners are outstanding examples of the kind of entrepreneurs who expend endless resources on growing a sector that is fundamental to the vitality of the South African economy. We commend them on another year of hard work and look forward to seeing what 2022 holds in store,” commented Ben Bierman, Managing Director of Business Partners Ltd.
One of the winners, Pauline Williams, the founder of Senocsa Country Estate in Springbok started her business, which she runs with her husband John as a dream project that supplemented her full-time employment. With the support of Business Partners Ltd, Williams was able to acquire the neighbouring property and transform it into a fully-fledged guest estate, equipped to welcome and cater to a host of local and international tourists.
“These stories are incredible. They’re the kind of stories that make our 40th anniversary and this time of year, particularly special. We’re proud to say that our values of entrepreneurial spirit, economic merit, integrity and service excellence continue to provide a firm foundation not only for our business but for our clients,” commented Bierman.
